i have totally re-fallen in love with the wolf pack, like, omg isaac your history is so tragic, omg erica you have all the sass, omg boyd your chill boydness. scott belongs with them.

AND NOW FUCKING PETER IS BACK?? AS THE ALPHA?? WHAT! WHAT JUST HAPPENED!

and then who is the what with the kanima what?! who IS that guy? how is he actually derek's age but still attending school?

Lydia did some ritual with the moon and Derek and Peter, and that reversed death, and well, the transfer of power from Derek to Peter. Which, in the long run is likely a good thing, as Derek was happier as a Beta - he didn't want to be Alpha yet. If ever. Although, if they make Scott an Alpha, I will be beyond eyerolling. How about a more equal pack? Or, one that isn't being HUNTED.DOWN.

who could POSSIBLY be the alpha in that group except derek? like, we can't leave peter alive. there are what, 3 episodes until the end of season? is that enough for an "i'm not good enough maybe he should be alpha" dramafest that turns around when the pack decides to support derek?

let's be clear: i fucking LOVE peter, because he's a psychopathic scenery-masticating over-the-top villain of the first order. but they can't possibly leave him ALIVE.

I agree - nobody else in that group is even CLOSE to being an Alpha. Scott is too fixated on Allison, also young, Isaac is sweet, but not a leader type - although EXCELLENT Beta. Boyd and Eric are lovely, but again, not Alphas.

Yes, if they don't get the Alpha stuff SORTED, with Derek saying 'going to be the kind of Alpha my sister would have wanted' or whatever, I shall be peeved.

Derek is the one with the knowledge, the experience, the training, and the sheer stubbornness and loyalty to stay in town and look after a bunch of people that want him dead or at least don't care what happens.

And yes, Peter is a JOY, but he can't stay ALIVE. If he comes back SANE? Then well, there are all those MURDERS to deal with.

you know something... i dearly hope that scott and alison become bitter, bitter enemies that glare at each other down the hallways at school and leave each other murder notes and are plainly still impaired with love with each other, but just engaging in the world's biggest lover's quarrel. that would make them SO MUCH BETTER.

but okay yes, derek must be the alpha but he has to CHOOSE it, instead of just having it be him by default because he killed his uncle. and the pack has to choose him too, because he's the best one, instead of just because he's their only option.

Because, Scott needs to say: YOUR MOM TRIED TO MURDER ME. Which, against morality, the CODE, and just SHITTY all around.

And Derek, again, came to Scott's rescue (which is why he SHOULD be Alpha, but choose to be the right kind, the instincts are there, omg, are they) and had to bite her to get her to stop KILLING AN INNOCENT TEENAGE BOY. Which, hi, history repeating.

But again, yes, the pack has had issues with what he's doing - which is why I can see them going for Peter. But, Peter is well, why is he BACK? He MURDERS people. Maybe the pack is going to have to realize that hey, Derek messed up a bit, but he's the better choice, and we can learn together to be a family.

A huge lover's quarrel like that would be so much BETTER. Instead of this waffling all over the damn place!

and i don't think there's any way you could bring peter back from the batfuck insanity in which he's steeped. i mean... look at him. look at ALL HIS CRAZY. it's huge and flowered and dripping with the tattered shreds of lydia's innocence, which, okay, she needs to become a supervillain for AT LEAST one season. i love her more than a whoooole lot of things.
