i would tell you all about this week's dexter, heroes, californication, house, bones and reaper, but honestly, seems like we're cruising in neutral there, no? i had fun, the shows that were awesome remain awesome, the ones that were good remain good. i didn't see a lot of big surprises anywhere. in truth, the only show i caught this week that really grabbed me and shook me was beauty and the geek... but that's because they were at comiccon and the judges for their challenge were writing comics that i know, and they could NOT stop laughing at the retarded things put before them. HAH.

AHHHHAHAHAHA the humanity. fucking awesome. i wish i had not deleted my "i saw you googling yourself" icon because, hello.

are you telling me there are people who ACTUALLY think things they write on the internets are private, anonymous and safely removed from the persons about whom they are writing? because, seriously. a couple weeks ago i wrote a blog post that mentioned an interview/article i had read. the next day i got EMAIL from the INTERVIEWEE. madness! but that's how it works. the tubes make the world SMALLER, not bigger. information travels faster.

Personally I'm about to embark on a quest to produce a J2 epic for NaNoWriMo. Would I care if Jared or Jensen or any of the other people mentioned therein read it? Only in the way where that would be the awesomest thing ever. Seriously, I love that the internet makes the world that small. It gives me warm fuzzy feelings to think that perhaps, up in the wilds of Vancouver, Jared may be saying to Jensen, "Wow, look what this crazy chick wrote about us! She really needs a life!"

My feelings about Jared and Jensen reading J2 isn't so much that I'm personally embarrassed (if I didn't realize that the internet is accessible to everyone, I wouldn't take pains to use an alias), just a general forehead slap of dismay. They seem good-natured enough to not be creeped out by it, but - you know, RPS is pretty creepy. People write about their parents and pets and girlfriends, and I wouldn't blame them if they were uncomfortable with that. And as a fan, I wouldn't wish that kind of discomfort on them. Fic isn't for the subjects, it's for the fans.
