i find that het never bothers me b/c it's almost always peripheral. like. you KNOW dean scores all the time, we've SEEN sam hit it, and yet does it interfere with the sam/dean? not in any way. and i love that about them!

and then there's of course the visceral part of me that knows that, like. sam's hands look good on a woman's ass. or that tits make dean smile. :D

Agreed. :) Dean's, er, appreciation for the female body is one of the things that makes me love him. And Sam + girls is always HOT. I really love het in canon, so I'm unsure why I don't read much het ...

I think my problem is that I never even know where to go about finding het. When I read it (99% of the time, via recs or writers I have friended), I love it - I should start browsing through the links on spnnewsletter, see what I find and if I like it. ;)

Oh, I KNOW some people I have friended have written het (including you :) - I remember that super hot deleted bit from Monogatari and I've been meaning to read some of your older fic for a while, in which I know there is a Sam/OFC fic :P) - I'll definitely get around to reading them one of these days. ;)
