i love the way the word "good" is used in this episode. sam says very clearly, we fight EVIL, but when "good" shows up...

dean (teaser): it's called being a good son!!
sam: you're in a good mood.
gordon: great fighters, good in a tight spot.
gordon: it was real good meeting you, though.
gordon: and it just gets bigger and bigger and darker and darker? good.
ellen: saaaam, it's good to hear from you.
ellen: well, he's a real good hunter... and hannibal lecter's a good psychiatrist.
sam (to lenore): give me one good reason why i should believe you.
gordon: they're covering their tracks real good.
dean: you're good. monster pain in the ass... but you're good.
dean: okay. i'm good now. we can go.

for most of these, if you take "good" to mean a judgement of morality rather than quality, well. it sure as hell says a lot about our boys, i think, and about this episode.
