God, I loved the smiling. They looked genuinely happy several times during the show, and we don't see a lot of that from Sam and Dean. Even though Dean smiles more, he isn't necessarily light-heartedly happy like this episode.

OMG This was the best ep ever to introduce new fans to the show via it's new thursday night spot after smallivlle. I cannot agree with you more. It was seperate from the major arc so as not to confuse newcomers, brought the pretty, the big bad MOTW and brotherly snark, OMG the brotherly snark.

If this show doesn't make it to the CW I will cry. Tears of blood and pain and anguish, seriously.

"What Would Buffy Do" has to be the bible of Kripke&Co, because there hasn't been a show like this that combines the crack, scary monsters, love and teh_gay with a blast since BTVS. Like the BTVS they loves us fans, they're fans of the show themselves. We are going to have sex. With girls. I strained my abdomens with laughing.

OMFG Sam's glee with the glue prank, Sam licking his finger and the HIPBONES from heaven. And Wincest is SO canon, because, dude, Dean was SO checking out his brother. Nobody can convince me otherwise!

Loved all of the above, but am I weird that I'm most gleeful about them just stopping to eat/have coffee in crappy little diners and restaurants that have stupid decor? Because that just gives that feeling of road trip, driving so long the hours blur together and the hum of the engine starts to feel like your own heartbeat. With the radio station tuned to some classic rock station, which I imagine their dad played when they were kids and that feeling of past and family is always there with them in the car.

I was torn between panting over towel!Sam, dying over the pranks, and going WTF?!?! over the SO NOT TEXAS KTHNX-ness of the ep.

I'm a transplanted Texan who grew up in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex one mile away from Richardson. That was NOT Richardson or Central Texas (HELLO WB WRITERS! DFW IS NOT IN EAST TX!) by a long shot.

The love for this show just keeps getting bigger and bigger my throat is closing up and I can't breathe.

I should also note that playing Name That Location is giving me heart palpitations, because, seriously? The little rodeo restaurant place they visit to talk to the kids? I LIVE ACROSS THE STREET FROM THERE AAAAAAAHHHHHH OMFG *tears out hair* I HAVE EATEN THERE. THEY HAVE THE BEST BURGERS EVER BUT THAT'S BESIDE THE POINT. I do not understand how I did not realize they were filming there. I can't. even. I--*wails* I can walk out my door and be there in five minutes. This just goes to show that God hates me. Period.

But really, this episode was all about the boys, and their shenanigans, and the geek boys who reminded me so much of three other geeks we used to know and love that I may have smiled and teared up a little, er *watery smile*. Jensen and Jared need to never stop doing what they're doing. EVER.
