Okay. So, y'all remember that last year I went to the Blues fest with finaira and another fella I termed Joliet (since Elwood was taken and he was officially like my brother because we napped on a tarp)?

So, he has of late:

1. given me a foot rub
2. worn my collar
3. fixed my computer
4. made me chocolate chip cookies
5. referred to his father as "Da", and
6. called me adorable.

I am keeping him. robanybody, when you come and marry me, he can live in our spare bedroom and you have to help me remember to feed him. He looks great in leather pants.

I would LOVE to go to writercon, but there's no way in hell I can afford it. Which makes me all "le sigh," but short of winning the lottery or robbing the bank, there's no way I can scrape together enough to make it there. *woe*
