probably my favorite line is zoe telling chris to play hooky. it perfectly sets up the playful tone she'll have with him later - she's such a player, man, she knows just what she's doing. <3
chris was whining high at the back of his throat. there is absolutely no way to make that sound sexy instead of girly or doglike, though, so i couldn't say it out loud.
there is no more because it is what it is! but i am working most hard at another story, so hopefully that will come soon. ugh writing is hard. *flop!*
