You shouldn't have to lock your opinions if you don't want to (SIGH! I got into this debate a few months ago when I made a public post about how I dislike rape fics), but I suppose you have to brace yourself for the fallout.
Which is why I'm glad I'm not in bandom, so I won't have to see folks hash and rehash this a million times over. ;)
