one day i'm going to write fic based on this icon. you watch. i curse myself for already having used don't ask, don't tell as a title. i have also acquired two new icons and neither of them are of zachary quinto and this breaks my heart. he's so frickin hard to icon that i barely know what to do with him. cee, weigh in.

i just got back from my third viewing of star trek, which i undertook with five friends who hadn't seen it yet. it was just as delight-filled as previously indicated, and everyone i went with was mostly delighted as well, except for steph, whose eyeball betrayed her. but she persevered! we finished the evening with pasta and conversation, all intensely nerdy and a joy to participate in.

tomorrow is Unscrewing Day. i plan to mope about and be a big whiny baby when i come home, fair warning. but i think that since i am going to be awake when they take this bit of metal out of my foot, i deserve a nice big cookie. everybody cross your fingers that all healing goes apace and i am shortly able to walk, because i really miss walking omg.
