I have SO got to watch this show. People keep telling me that I will LOVE it. You're like, the final nail, because I know what kinds of shows you love (shared love for Boston Legal carries far with me). Time to put it in the queue!
i resisted for a long time, because i was like, there's no possible way they could do this right. and even if they did, they couldn't possibly keep it up for long.
I've been afraid it would influence my writing on my original online web comic book, which is based around a family of sociopaths, but I hear from friends that it's not really at all like the comic, so I've been breaking down.
HOLY SHIT! what an episode! *flails* that moment when Doakes is horrifed, broken, by what Dexter is doing. You know if Doakes is appalled its BAD. And so Dexter, the viewer, suddenly, sees the monstrosity he is. GULP. and of course it's all the harder because he'd got to the point where he was starting to feel, to find himself.
he just chilled me over and over and over. i loved when he claimed to have no feelings and doakes knew perfectly well what a load of horseshit that was. i double love how happy dex was to finally have an audience who might understand, who might have been proud - doakes standing in for harry. and i FUCKING TRIPLE love how even after everything, doakes still asked dex what was wrong, because dex is fucking bang on - doakes does understand, and a part of him does approve.
LILA should go down for being the bay harbor butcher. the only reason that wouldn't work is that doakes would have to allow dexter to live free, and that ain't happening.
Was it you that linked (months ago) to a CREEPY FIC involving SPN boys as little boys? Like, 13 and 9 or something? And the author had that creepy icon with little boy babies kissing?!

funny to find this little poll just now...i watched all the s2 eps the other day and decided that this is defintely one of the best shows in the history of the entire world. i had thought that when i watched s1 but i'm absolutely convinced of it now :D
