And believe me, I am willing to bear as much anger as you're willing to dish out -- and have done in the past (though not, I think, from you). I know you're intelligent enough to recognize differences of opinion (i.e. about the level of exploitation of Stage Gay) for what they are -- I just found myself offended by the sweeping nature of "i hate bandom" and the following commentary on the behavior of the fandom, when I personally have never seen fannish entitlement coming out of bandom that is in any way greater than the fannish entitlement coming out of other fandoms (including Supernatural). Defensiveness, maybe, but not entitlement.
